Oufit Of The Day

Hello lovelies. My new mission is to wear African prints as often as I can. I absolutely love them, and the black balances bright colours really well.  The skirt is from Death By Print (like the page on facebook).

I just had to share this  cover of Beyonce's XO, I think this cover is better than the original! This guy has an amazing voice, his version is more sincere. Hope you enjoy!

RiRi in Stella Jean

I’ve been seeing this outfit a lot. It was worn by Rihanna during her visit to the White House about a week  ago. We know RiRi is a trend setter and definitely a risk taker. I absolutely love her style and almost all her outfits. She has received a lot of positive comments on this particular dress by Stella Jean (Haitian/Italian designer) but seriously I’m not gonna lie I just don’t like it. I do love the dress alone but I don’t know… the styling just doesn’t excite me. Apparently the shirt is part of the dress. Its unique yes, but it’s a no from me. To some degree I do understand she was going to the White House and all so maybe she was just tryna be simple yet elegant.

I have to say though I do admire how Stella Jean brings out her multicultural roots in her designs and that’s what makes her designs so unique. Here are some designs by Stella Jean for Spring/ Summer 2015, and I totally adore them! I would totally wear each and every one of them.

I just fell in love with the animal print the moment I saw it.Most people usually go OTT with their outfits, I decided to do something different and just keep it simple. A fashion brand...

Hello fashionistas,  I know I haven't posted anything in a while! That's because I'v been trying to put together my own fashion brand. I'v started doing some personal styling as well as designing clothes. My label is 'Death by Print' -- catchy right? lol. So yea Death by Print is all about prints, in particular African prints. Iv been obsessed with them for as long as I can remember. My own style is some kinda of a hippie, "Afro-punk", relaxed, effortless style so I'm trying to incorporate some of that in the clothes I make. And if you  look at the individual pieces they are quiet simple yet they stand out. I'm really excited and i hope it gets better every time. This is just the beginning. I'm calling the 1st collection for this years Spring/Summer the 'Afro punk collection. Here's a sneak peek :)

Stack 'em up!

The layered rings trend has been going on since Spring/Summer 2013. Its still one of my favorite trends and its very simple and easy to accomplish. It has been an on going trend and works so well with pastel colours. Its a good look for any season.
