Quote of the Day

C.G. Jung
“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
C.G. Jung

As a human being , one should be more appreciative of the existence granted to them. Our uniqueness coupled with our intellect should be the most celebrated and exalted of our possessions. The ability to question, reason and impose meaning on the world is a capacity bestowed on no other creature besides ourselves. We can savour each conscious moment, reserve our most precious memories every sensation that we have. These include the five majors of touch, sight, smell, taste and sound, in greater appreciation than all other creatures.

We have peered deeper into the universe, and with this new knowledge, gained a new sense of how infinitely small we are in this vast vacuum of space. We have also discovered that the law of attraction is not just a gravitational force but also a physical one as well.As people who possess spiritual energy we have the ability to attract who and what we want, given enough focus and determination. This has been proven as a law in the complex discipline of quantum physics.

It is imperative that one should remember these things when life gets too much, for we are celestial beings made of the same compounds which make up stars, and thus part of this universe more than we know. Think of these facts in a conscious process while meditating for just 15 minutes a day and notice a change in at least one month.

  1. But then we also have an immense ability to destroy -- the will to annihilate. Is that a necessary component of our genius also? I love humans by the way. Correction, sometimes I despise us. And, like you, I generally have an anthropocentric view of the world myself. Great blog, Y'ning.

  2. Thanx a lot!
I guess its in our nature to destroy .When things are as good as they possibly can be, we always expect the worst. That alone can be the root cause of our destructive tendencies...

As much as we are the most significant species of our universe we are not perfect. We create but we also destroy , there's good and bad in us....all these things make us humans.
